im assuming people used the same rubber plugs from home depot to cover up the front license plate holes.

remove the plugs underneath the truck and take out bolts. If i remember 2 on each side. The Spoiler has 2-way tape on it. You will have to pry it off. It does come off. Don't mess up your paint though. When i removed mine i had rust. Apparently mitsubishi put more primer and paint on this damn spoiler than the rest of the car. I am a autoglass installer so I just plugged the top of the hole with urathane. (stuff that holds windshields in) Havent had a problem other than to save money and get my spoiler re-cleared!

I used a hairdryer to help the 3M tape become more plyable. Then some goo-gone to get the residual glue that the tape leaves.

So the wing needs to be pryed off the trunk? How does that not mess the paint up?

when u say "pry", its not the way u think. its just the sticky-ness that is holding it on. the sticky tape isnt that hard to pull against and it wont pull off ur paint, unless its rusted.
