I get a whine noise only when im slowing down and it get louder the lower the gear idk what it is does anybody know its a 2014 evo x mr

 

Bring it to the dealer, it's under warranty.

I also had the same problem on my 2010 GSR, it ended up being the transfer case. It would only make the whining sound as I was slowing down and the longer I drove the worse it sounded.

 

I have a 2014 MR as well and we may have the same whine. It changes with RPM and it's more audible in gears 1,2 in manual mode especially on the downshift as rpms drop . To it to the dealer and they said it was normal even though I told them I didn't hear it prior . I made them give me a service receipt saying that they thought it was normal. Now I'm starting to notice a big thud sound if I go full throttle in 1 and 2 gears and lift off the gas abruptly. Feels like something is loose. Haven't had a chance to take in for that symptom yet. I'll post once I do.

 

Sounds like the same problem i always drive in manual in sport mode im just wondering what could of caused it and it seems like the whine is getting louder

 

if there is a problem its the T Case. Check the fluid for metal specs.

 

I think the whine is normal I've driven the mr and se and they both do it
