Can't be since he swapped the coil packs around and the issue didn't follow

 

Well the plug being damaged issue I have no say in but honestly misfiring can be anything. My car misfired for almost two weeks and each time I read the codes it said a different cylinder although somewhat consistent with cylinder 1. Had the fuel injectors cleaned and chalked it up to bad gas. Stopped after the clean injectors and refuel.

 

Damn I have the same problem but I have swapped 3 different pairs of new plugs and same problem.

swapped coils
swapped cop with another car
swapped ecu with another car
swapped cam sensor
continuity test on all wires
swapped injectors
tested all leads

cylinder 1 has 185psi of compression, has spark and the new plug smells of fuel. The fuel injector fires and so does the coil.

pulled valve cover, all rockers are where they belong and everything looks mechanically sound.

It runs only on cylinders 2,3&4... and no longer will hold an idle, and the a/f's dropped into the 10's - low 11's now.

I'm lost... we even used an oscilloscope to check pulses, everything seems spot on.

 

so its most likely something with air or fuel..bad injectors? bad fuel pump? is your bov recirculated or vta?

 

1) No boost leaks

2)Brand new FIC 2150's - swapped out with another new set of FIC 2150's - same problem

3)all injectors and leads were tested and passed

4) I have brand new Wally 450's, with an AEM in car fuel press gauge, fuel pressure is good and fuel system is functioning

5) Running a Tial, not recirculated, on SD with Omni 7bar sensor and GM ait....


The crew helping me might have an idea of what it might be, I need to examine it for myself before I post.
