Noise after solid motor mounts.

So I install my torque solution motor mounts yesterday and I've been getting this noise from the engine bay. I know it's normal to have the vibration but rattling like metal to metal? Notice a lot more ticking from inside the engine? If it's normal I'll just leave it but wonder if it will cause any issues.

People seem to say they break in a bit over time. If you are confident you have installed them properly, then just give it 2000 miles and see how you feel.

lol, you installed solid motor mounts. Time to realize that your car is modified past any "normal" amount and you will start hearing noises. If you freak out about everyone of them you will never enjoy driving it.

Drive it, if something breaks then fix it from there.

Heat shields rattling?

I have the Boomba rear and front motor mounts and for a good 10k miles I heard a metal on metal rattle. One day it just disappeared.

With solid motor mounts you will hear every single thing in the car rattle. You can see the dash vibrate.......

It's not Solid if it's got a polymer insert.

I don't mind the vibration but the sound seems to be coming from inside the engine. Can it be the valves or something like that?

Problem fix!!! I took a second look on how I did the install. I use the existing bolts and not the provided ones and that's why it wasn't on good. Replace bolts and all is good! Much more vibration and no noise!

I don't know if it has anything to do with the vibration but one of my under panels almost flew off. I remember putting in all the tabs and 3 actually came off on the freeway. I have halos in my headlights and one of the halos actually came off. Now I have to take my headlight apart and fix it. Yes race car lol

Fact: race cars don't have halo's in headlights.
