Popping Sound DF Wheel Area

Hello FRIENDS

Purchased a 2010 EVO GG GSR About a couple of months ago and the car has been bittersweet ever since.

But here's my NEW problem. I was taking a drive to a local speed shop (Extreme PSI in Bensalem, PA), and on the way back I begin to hear this ungodly noise at my RF tire. At first, I thought it was a flat. Then, I thought that my mudflap came off. THEN, I was bamboozled. The sound will get faster the faster i go BUT goes away when I accelerate. It GOES AWAY when I brake. IT GOES AWAY when I corner. Only is present when I'm decelerating in a straight line. It sounds BRUTAL when I go slow.

I recently installed 20mm spacers two nights ago and didn't have a problem with them since. Also the car is on (what I believe) Eibach lowering springs. (The spring is not seated on this wheel correctly I might add, but that gives me an entirely different sound). But it sounds like if the CV Joint molding came off and were rubbing agains the actual axle or something.

I checked to see if lugs were tight. They were. Check to see if the spacer was right and seated correctly. It was. I inspected the tire and the necessary "plays" in the system (ball joint, tie rod play, etc) and everything SEEMS tight and fine. The noise came out of nowhere: it wasn't an old sound from days ago or anything like that. I didn't hit any potholes or sudden fixations in the road either. I am literally STUMPED and I'm pretty good at diagnosing "sounds". Would love to know if anyone has witnessed this before. I'm leaning towards a hub bearing assy

Jack the car up and remove the wheel and spin rotor with your hand to figure it out. Are your tires rubbing since you put spacers on them causing the sound?
