Quick Master cylinder Recall Question
Sorry to bump this thread from the dead but I picked up a 2008 Evo X last week. Earlier today I brought it into to my local Mitsubishi dealer to get all the recall stuff done on it because the previous owner didn't. Before I took it in the clutch felt strong, stiff, and it grabbed up towards the top (I barely had to push the pedal down for it to engage). I just got the car back and the pedal feels a lot softer and and it grabs towards the middle. I pumped it a few times and it became a little better but no where close to what it used to be. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to get it back to the way it used to be in terms of stiffness?!

Probably has something to do with the clutch master cylinder recall. take it back and explain the problem. they might need to readjust something.
Little update, I've put about 80 miles or so on the car since last night with the new CMC. I feel like I had to break it in. It's much better than it was yesterday and it had stiffened back up a little bit. Also the the engagement point is pretty much back to where it used to be.
