whining noise?plastic idler pulley?they did most recall on these parts.my 08 mr is ok.no whining so I'm good.

just changed the pullies............ still the same issue. i wonder if it's just normal noise and i'm just now noticing it?? As stated, sounds like the video posted up earlier, just not as loud

It's the oil pump. Change the oil, noise will go away and then come back as the oil ages. Use a good synthetic.

that was going to be my next step. I'm due for an oil change in about 1000 miles, but wanted to change it before then. Imma try that out and see how it goes. I have amsoil full synetic in there now.
