What rpms is the best to shift at when on track ?
I ran 14 flat bone stock evo x gsr sss when used the stock launch at 5500 and shift into 2nd at 6500 and into 3rd at 7500 and into 4th at 7200 is that good shifting points for the evo ?
Not what rpm to shift at, but addresses the power issue. #25 basically sums it up...

In a perfect world you would shift at your horsepower peak and the next gear would pick up at the top of the tourque curve. As was previously said a Dyno sheet would help. Then maybe plot rpm's before and after each shift etc.....
The last time I went to the track with mines was October 25 for import showdown. I experimented with different shift rpm to see the difference in times. And what I've notice was. Shifting at 7000 each gear made me run slower than shifting at 7500. But the best time I ran that day was a 12.8@107 shifting from first @ 7000 and the rest @ 7500. But I essential have a stage 2 setup. Shoulda ran better but wasn't able to get my 60' time faster than 1.8s.
