Just went VIII to X

Just picked up a 2014 WW X yesterday after trading in my beloved VIII that I've had since 2003. In general most of the reviews that compare the VIII or IX to a X are as described. Both cars share a lot in common and at the same time are quite different. I'd say best described as refined versus raw... Couldn't be happier, too bad I couldn't have both.

For those of you that are interested in picking a 14 (Recaros!), I suggest you stop by Peruzzi Mitsubishi of Fairless Hills (PA). They have a handful of 14's left. My experience with them was great. Ask for Nicholas Waddle when you get there. Simple, honest, no scare sales tactics, easy... even better he's a car guy.

Now I just need some swift springs on this car... She sits I little high for my liking from the factory!

Congrats wish I could have gotten a deal on a 14 but I am happy with my 13. What's the most notable difference from the previous model to this one so far?

My first impression can be summed up with the following....
-Power delivery is the thing the most noticeable difference - X delivers power in a more linear fashion compared to the VIII
-Handling - X feels better through the turns while even being the heavier car
-Recaros - X's Recaros are much better than the VIII's, wow!
-Shifting - Easier and smoother in the X
-Exhaust - Stock exhaust is louder in the X
-Tech Features - X wins this one easy obviously, the VIII is like a go-cart literally with as many features as a go-cart, but that's one of things that made the VIII quite appealing.

I was thinking about checking out Peruzzi. The internet sales rep gave me a quote on one of their cars, and another could only match it with a car that had less options.

I checked them out too. I was just saying that another dealer couldn't even match their price on their phantom black model (can't remember what options it had on it). You got one with the Sight and Sound packages, right?

ahhh, yeah I expect many dealers not have what's posted online, but that wasn't the case for me. This one i picked up has the navigation, interior package (aluminum shift knob / brake grip), railliart lugs.

I have never owned a 8 or 9. I wish I did just to see the differences between them. I might get one in the future after the x is paid off
