Motion Control Suspension (MCS) coilover?
Alright.... ordered!!
Jason talked me into staying with the 800/800 set-up. He was telling me something about the spring rate of the A7 tire in a 295 and that any more will essentially reduce performance of the suspension/tire. I did mention you and he said... and I paraphrase "yeah but he is running a HUGE tire!" Haha! He did say that I should be running my rear bar at the softest setting (currently on the hardest and love it) and adjust from there as needed...make sense to me. Anyway I hope he is right... we'll see. Thank for your help and input!

2) Rear spherical mounts are absolutely necessary if you're going over 10kg/mm springs. I tried one event with my 800 in/lb springs on the stock mounts and they were a bit squishy. Back when I first got my MCS coils, no one in the world made spherical rear mounts that would fit MCS's larger shaft diameter. MCS has since decided to offer something off the shelf, which is nice cause I ended up making my own rear top mount and of course i'm still trying to address some squeakiness in the mounts.
So I got the MCS rear mounts. Installed everything, set ride height, corner balanced and aligned. I'm getting a slight cluncking in the rear. Any thoughts on this? Do you have any? Its a litle annoying as it feels like something is gonna break. I know it's somewhat the nature of solid mounts. You said you were getting some squeaking but are you getting any cluncking?
Hey, so I know im asking you questions on two sites but I figured this one was more appropriate since MCS is the main topic of this thread.

LOL!! And yours def look sexy!! Gotta give you at least that much.
Yeah I was just about to when I got back from the alignment shop but it was already past their business hours. I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow. The two times I've called they were very helpful. I'm hoping it's something I just missed during install.

the clunking can be from a lot of things. It all depends on where the clunking is coming from. First you have to find out exactly where it is clunking. If you have someone jump on the door sill really really hard, can you hear the clunk? If so get underneath the car and try that. Mine never clunker. Also also, are you running helper or Tender Springs?
JRZ makes a great product but I went with MCS over JRZ largely because MCS was based in the US and Lex at MCS picked up the phone when I called and was super helpful (and obviously super knowledgeable). Try calling JRZ and see how quickly they get back to you.
I'm gong to pull the trigger on Monday. MCS 1 Way. 700lbs Hypercoil springs square. Helper springs. Vorslag camber plates. MCS rear top hats.
I'm on RE71R. You guys think 700lbs is to stiff for "street tires". I'm running 572lbs swifts on the JRZ now.
Thanks for any input
Also, get the vorhlag camber plates if you do not already have a set, they are worth it. Positive caster ftw.
There camber plates are on the list

Now I just gotta figure out how to adjust compression and rebound properly.
