so i just bought a 2015 evo had 64miles on it when i got it, it has 300ish on it now, im planning to do ic piping kit, bov & turbo back exhaust im just curious if any of this will ruin my warranty? i paid extra for 6yr/100k warranty i dont want to lose that, but i dont like the stock exhaust sound, any info would help thanks.

few questions about warranty

First of all, with the mods you mentioned above, you will mostly need a tune. And a tune is detectable if dealer really wants to check if you car is tuned or not.
If a tune is tuned, they will probably deny any engine related warranty. I would just leave it stock if I really care about warranty.
I think the only thing you may safely change is a cat back.

thanks for the reply, yeah i mean i do care about the warranty seeing as it cost 3500$ for 100k miles, i dont really wanna void it & than something happen to my car 20k miles down the road, but at the same time i dont want to have everything stock, that kinda defeats the purpose of owning an evo :/

You could just run the turbosmart bov and take it off when you go for service. Its 2 hose clamps. Stick with the bov and catback. Not much they can say about the catback.

BOV, IC piping shouldn't cause too much grief with your dealer for the warranty. What dealer do you work with?

Concerning exhaust, just get a catback exhaust if you're concerned with warranty. You can run without a tune, which is the biggest killer of warranty work.

To be honest our warranty in my experience anyways has been useless...my dealer here in saint louis immediatly denies everything then i complain and they finally agree to look at it and then they always go back to wear and tear.. But for the most part my 2011 has about 30 k on it now and its pretty much been problem free.

^ this. Extended warranties are worthless as it is, let alone on an Evo. You'd be better off stuffing that $3500 in a bank account (or investing it) and drawing from it if the dealer won't replace something under warranty.

If you live in Maryland drive to King for service they are very cool about the cars being modded I mean the owner of the dealership has a 1200hp vette and 1000hp single turbo cyclone
