Alright so I've found a couple threads on this with no real solution. I've just had my AYC pump changed under warranty and now my car has started occasionally making a loud clunk noise when coming to a full stop. Seems to be when I have been driving a while (at least 15 min) but that might just be coincidence. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I thought it might be related to the rear diff since it comes from this general area and the dealer just replaced the pump.

Brought it back but naturally the dealer can't hear it, or find a problem. I just don't want to fry my out of warranty diff or something.

 

are u able to replicate the noise? if you can have the tech at the dealer go for a ride with you.

 

After my pump got swapped out, I get the same intermittent noise when coming to a slow stop. Also once in a while get a grrr noise that last less than a second. checked the fluid and its full. Going in for an oil change and will have them look into it. See if there is air in the line.

 

It's too intermittent brought it back and they said they can't replicate it. Got a video too but apparently it's not enough...
