I came across a video on Youtube of a guy installing this into his X and was wondering if anybody else did the swap yet for this car stereo and their experience with it?

And also to inform other owners that this swap is available for the X. Based off the video I saw it looks a million times better than the OEM touchscreen.

There are posts weekly about this on the Evo X Owners Facebook page. Many people have installed and use this system. The main complaint from what I have seen is the glare on the screen. People really seem to like it otherwise.

I have it as well. It' not bad. Takes a while to sync the phone to it sometimes... No complaints otherwise. Oh, one more thing, it runs on can bus, just like oem, but if you start adding aftermarket electronics to it, it might cause it to not shut down properly and drain your battery.

I have mine on order, plan on doing an install next week. Theres a pretty big thread on this. Its an easy install especially if you have the Axxess Mito for OEM RF systems.

There is a big conversation on this in the electronic section of evo x, i have it on mine and is better than OEM, however is not perfect. With the RC Stock AMP i cNt get t lowder than Level 20 or it will mute the speakers for a few seconds.

I just installed the head unit a couple weeks ago, and it is awesome. a bit slow starting up, and not the brightest display in direct sunlight, but neither one of those issues makes me dislike the system. Plus it looks and sounds amazing.

so if I would like to have one, what I have to buy to do a PNP install with all the goodies and work like a factory one?

I have a 2014 GSR with NAV and rockfort audio +sub etc.

I have one, it's PNP everything included in the box!
Really easy install, it's awesome. You should look at some
back-up cameras on amazon, that's where i got mine.
