Idk why one would think it would be an issue. Other then that in 5th, the car is gonna slow be until it really gets into boost. Otherwise, any tuner who is worth his salt will have a map that is drivable in all areas and won't have to tell the customer to "not stand on it below this rpm".

 

probably late to the party but sure sounds like the clutch. If youre handy with cars I would do it yourself because it will be costly to have it done. That being said, expect to spend 12+ hours on it.
