my advice would be to get

2.) ebcs
3.) hfc
4.) tune

A tune alone will get your car to the whp goal you have in mind.

On my ralliart, I did a turbo back exhaust, drop in filter, and electronic boost controller, and that was enough to get around 292whp/320ftlbs

No, I was TRYING to avoid buying gauges. I like a clean look in a car and (to me) gauges look ricey to me. If I had the ability to have some type of system gauges thru my in-dash touch screen, I would drop the $$$ in a second to have that installed before/after a tune/mods.

Perhaps I may be better off staying going with mods that won't affect the engine (Lowering Springs and drilled rotors).

If you prefer less gauges, Innovate and PLX make a single gauge that monitors the crucial items: AFR, Oil Pressure, and Boost. You should watch these items closesly unless you are planning to stay near stock power levels.
