I'll first add I'm looking for family friendly (4dr), spacious, and powerful (or capable) while being reliable. I'm basically looking for a dad race/family car.
It depends on what kind of racing you want to do. The Caddy and Dodge aren't really "race" cars. I've seen them at AutoX events as well as HPDE. The drivers still have fun, but I'm not sure "race" is a word any of them use LOL. A guy I know HPDEs a Challenger Hellcat. He's one of the slowest guy out there, but has a blast. I'm sure the Charger would be the same. If it's about having fun and not being the fastest, I'm sure you would be happy. Also, you will have a warranty and a lot of power without having to mod the crap out of your car. There is a lot to be said for leaving things alone. Not all of us are into dumping tons of money/time/parts into a car while, at the same time, making it less reliable
The fact that you are considering the two cars you mentioned tells me you may not be happy keeping the Evo. It'll be the faster race car, but if that's not what matters to you then I see no reason to keep it.
As fun as Evos are, there are some cars I'd probably trade for (GT350).
It's all about what you intend to do with the car and what you have the most fun doing. Not everyone is Johnny Racecar Driver and only care about all-out-performance.
Which way have you been leaning?

Been thinking similar things. Entertaining ideas on what to trade my Evo for. Some on my list are the Dodge Charger, Challenger, GT500, BOSS 302, Camaro 1LE. I’ve been wanting something American. Something in the classic muscle car formula. I wouldn’t trade my Evo as it’s a great handling car. Would love to add an American Muscle car.

Sorry I haven't replied in awhile. I appreciate all of your inputs and opinions. With some time I realize how much I love my car. I think my issue is wanting more of what my Evo X is but more. I want more luxury, more speed, more aesthetics, more reliability, more space, more quality, etc etc. I find it funny the m2 was mentioned and talked about a bit here since recently I've been eyeing the m3 haha.

So this suggestion may be a bit out of left field. but for cars to look at, the AWD SHO Taurus is actually a really impressive car, and its pretty much a bigger evo with a twinturbo 6

As far as making the evo better, putting Ohlins R&T coilovers and a MHI18K or GTX3071R with E85 and supporting mods will give you close to what i think you are looking for.

Yeah, Taurus isn't "pretty much" a bigger Evo.

So did you trade the Evo? Myself, I am considering getting something more luxurious as I drive alot for work and frequently have 1-2 hour drives. I have an Evo X and an FD RX7, so it'd make sense for me to go Giulia Quadrifoglio. I seem to have a penchant for cars with questionable reliability and quality, yet world beating amazing performance and great looks. While the M3 is great, the Giulia Quad is amazing and the seats were so comfortable. Consider a Giulia, which can even be had with a turbo 4 and AWD for less than the Quad. for me it's going to be Giulia Quad if the wife lets me spend that much or I can find a good deal, or the Kia Stinger as it will do everything I want for less.I'll be trying to keep the Evo too.

I Personally Think the best way to own an EVO is as a weekend car and have a nice luxury/sport car for daily.
This way you will never consider selling/trading the vehicle and you will appreciate it a whole lot more.
For me it works good cause I have to take the Subway to work, so I only drive it on my 2 days off.
While the Evo is a decent daily driving it everyday can get tiresome and make you consider other more luxurious options.

Again, Sorry for the late response. The big update, I paid off the Evo and purchased a 2014 BMW 550i M Sport completely loaded for my wife. Her's is the daily while the Evo sits and waits to be turned into a beast for the streets and track.
