Hey guys
My evo x just starting to make random high pitch sound like some metal is rubbing. I could not replicate the sound to happen. It sometimes continues for hours and sometimes it just stopped.
Anyone have the same experience before?

 

That doesn't really help to figure out what it is.. Not a whole lot of info..

MR or GSR? Mileage?

Does it happen while driving? Sitting still? In gear? Neutral? Different speeds?

 

Just looked at your past posts and looks like you have a 2015 Final Edition..

Could be alot of things.. Something with the brakes, a pulley, etc.. But we would need more info to help.

Video or something would help alot.

Well, it is really random. It happened in every condition. Mostly while driving but one time, it makes the sound while sitting still.

 

Well, if it's still "grinding" while sitting, probably belt/pulley related. Possibly engine.

If it was brakes/wheel problem, it would only do it while moving.
