Various scratches appearing on the car

Ok so I picked up the vehicle a 2015 from the dealer a Year ago
with zero scratches.
I always hand wash the car myself and its garage kept.
around July I got 1 scratch and then I kept getting more and more scratches on the left side of the vehicle
every time a new one is appearing like non stop now. They're not deep
and are appearing on the driver side fender, rear door and quarter panel.

What I'm wondering is there something the dealer put to hide these scratches
or is this the nature of the cheaper Evo paint over the years.

could just be the typical scratches you get from parking lots and inconsiderate people.

looks like someone doesn't like you or just hating the car, I personally went through it while growing up in the hood in nyc, found out years later who the culprit was but Karma did visit that individual.....

Well yeah That's what I thought when the first scratch showed up on the driver fender I was like ok someone is hating then upon further inspection
it did not look like it was keyed at all. Then a week later another appeared right below and they kept appearing after that . I only take the EVO out for joy ride
I don't park on the streets.

I had a few similar scratches. They were from the clip of my pocket knife scratching the car as I got in or rubbed up against the car on accident.

That's from someone or something and not normal. I have had my 10 since 2014 and have zero scratches like that and I even track the hell out of the car.

I owned a Evo 8 for eight years and had zero scratches like that. Also heavily tracked.

Practice strategic parking and also mind who uses the garage with you.

Can they be buffed out? On our Lexus, I had quite a few scratches like that and used a good wax and almost all of them that buffed out. Worth a shot.

A wax wont remove the scratches...it might "fill" them but wont remove them...unless its an AIO and has abrasives..

If your fingernail catches the scratches ..they are fairly deep and may require a bit of wet sanding...

But wet sanding OEM paint is usually a no-go unless you have a paint depth gauge.

Couple of those look pretty deep like the one under the fuel door , that will not buff out.

Yeah they are not deep my fingernail will not catch them.
I passed by a detailing shop and the guy said these look like they were made
from passing by small tree branches.
