Just moved to Idaho from Commiefornia, but I haven't brought my evo up yet. I want to get a good feeling for the attitude towards modified cars in the state. Are the police more lenient towards engine modifications if the exhaust is reasonable?

Also I'd heard that cars need to be smogged in Ada county, but you could possibly go out to a place like Emmett and register there to avoid that. Is there any truth to this?
