I got a new evo (new to me) "2014 gsr with 46k" and I just switched maps from e85 to 93. (car is tuned for 91) I emptied the gas up to the 2nd gas indicator (no blue) then switched maps. Filled up about half tank (5.5 gallons) and drove about 40 miles and CEL came on, prior to this I have had "service maintenance required" When I first got the car on e85, it had almost full tank and didn't give me this problem. I cleared the code with accessport. I plan to get this car tuned asap since it had a terrible idle from the start but becomes stable after the car is warm. AFR reads between 14.7 to 15.1.
Per old owner, this car is protuned via accessport, I plan to get open source ASAP.
Is it still safe to drive this car about 50 miles to the tuner? When the CEL tripped, the car drove fine (but I never WOT) after switching maps but the CEL still tripped, never went above 4k so I may have boosted up to 10psi
This is my 2nd evo and I am not familiar with the e85 dual mapping game.

This is what I did but I reset the ECU. I drove it for more than 50 miles and AFR is consistently under 14.6ish @ idle with 12ish on cruising. I haven't got passed 4k RPM (when is it safe for me to start redling?)
Im running tephramod V3 flex fuel tune and I'm going thru the same thing. After 15-20 mins of driving i get the code everytime. I've cleaned the MAF sensor checked all vacuum hoses for any cracks and leaks the code keeps coming back. My tuner assured me that this is normal and I was told to stop resetting the ECU. The code will go away over time.
