1) Will the car look exactly like that? No, it wont. Its a design study. The car might have quite a few similarities with what reaches production, but dont be so quick to judge an unfinished product.
2) Mitsu is hurting right now, losing money and not selling many cars. Regardless of what it looks like, lets all feel fortunate that there will be an Evo X. It would be very easy for Mitsu to pull the plug on the Evo, and concentrate on cars that have a higher margin of return.
3) Personally, I dont feel it looks that bad. Look at all of the other Mitsus and their "corporate image." That concept looks much better than the split grill designs most Mitsus are now sporting. Say what you want, but it could have been much worse.
Back to the VIII being the best, lets not be ignorant. I believe back when this place was refered to as the "LancerForums" plenty of people complained about the VIII, how the VII was superior. Hell I even remember people still not excepting the VII and wishing Mitsu never stopped doing the VI. Lets give it some time and see what Mitsu does, the increase in horsepower and other engine vitals Im sure is to help cope with what will probably be a larger car; but dont get down on Mitsu yet. I mean they have done 8 great versions so far (well if you dont count the .5 variations,
), so I can assume the next Evo will live up to tradition. Im sure the engineers at Mitsu have not stuck their heads in the ground and become deaf to performance design.

Your comment was the Evo 8 will be the best. I did not mince words here...

I'm not going to complain too much, how many of us like evos because of how they look!? Hopefully they'll do some work with aero-dynamics on the new one, thats one of the things I've heard the Evo needs help with. Is this right? It would be nice if they would use a wind tunnel on the evo, they've thought of almost everything else.
