Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
honestly i dont think any of the evo's were designed to be 'beautiful' but very aggressive... its meant to give a wow response to many and some 'oh my gosh' in a few.... we love evo and its looks because we know the performance is amazing.. would u love it if the evo had 200hp FWD? no you'd think its slow and ugly..
How about this for a change?
Took me a couple hours to come up with this. I seriousely think that the original one look really UGLY.
I decided to extend out the back end and add the original EVO VIII wing to help it out a little. As for the front I made the hole in the hood look bigger. Last but not least I also added the antenna at the top. Another important thing is that I replaced the rims, cuz I think the one they had on was just plain F**K UP. Other than that I think the front look pretty good for a change.
Tell me what you guys think...

My biggest question now is the underpinnings of the car. I know the next gen Lancer was supposed to share a platform with the next Neon, and yes DC broke ties with Mitsu; but the platform share might still be a reality. Development work for cars sometimes preceedes the introduction of the model by four years, meaning maybe Mitsu is using what it had with the shared platform. Hopefully this i not the case, because I think Mitsu can do better with a clean sheet than with having to deal with another companies structural designs....
im not judging it yet because 3 years ago when i had my s2000 all modded out and believe it or not never heard of the EVO, i thought it looked like **** and was just a gay four door. but i would never go back to the Honda S2000 now. so.
Nice!
Evolucion,
Good work, I think that looks awesome. Touching up the rear and changing the wheels really made a big difference. I can imagine the Evo X looking like that alot more than the original concept.
