Part number is RE-0930.

Jegs has them in stock if your local auto parts store does not.

I used a Fujita 4.5 inch opening filter with a Blitz velocity stack on the base to go to 3 inches and 3 inch silicone. Left the front half of the airbox with the duct in place so it blocks the fan from disrupting things. Sounds and feels great for not much moolah. Will see how the gas mileage likes it as soon as I can keep from getting on the gas to hear the turbo.

I too fell victim to the "spinning bolt", and wow, it was such a damn pain.

I used the method in the "How To" forum to take care of the spinning bolt and it worked very well. Nice little mod for the money, sounds great, I missed hearing the turbo after I got rid of the IX, now I'm all smiles again.

i did the same thing had to cut the wing on mine. if you find a replacement let me know, im looking around to replace mine.

BTW anyone know that if they leave the snorkel part of the intake yields less power on the butt-dyno? i had mine out for awhile then i decide to leave it on, yeah you can definitely tell the difference.

I ended up just breaking the plastic screws/rivets to get the snorkel off. Autozone sells a part that works as a replacement. it's a 3/4" pop rivet, and instead of screwing in they just pop in (similar to other plastic pop rivets). However, there are other 3/4" ones that did not fit, so test the fitment first. Cost was about $2 for 20. i'll get the exact part number.

I've noticed that most significant gains have come from people with Xs and not IXs... I have also heard that a cone filter can wreak havoc on your MAF. Anyone having any problems besides that one guy who stalled on the highway? Would love to try this mod. Already have a K&N drop in filter but I think much more can be found! Any ideas? Already installed the Injen LICP and noticed a little louder turbo and Bov, but I wanna really hear it! Thanks guys

I've been running cone-filter since 2 weeks after I got it with 0 problems whatsoever. No summer heat killing at stoplight or any other problems.

Whooooa, just replaced my filter that came with the UR maf piece (it had a hole through it becuase i didnt leave the snorkel/box in the car...and theres 2 prongs that the filter was resting on, woops) with a K&N filter and oh boy my car forgot how to idle properly. Anyone know what filter UR uses with their intake? it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried disconnecting negative for a couple minutes, to see if resetting ECU helps it learn? Or maybe you're having the A/C fan idle issue?
