-8 or -9 is normal, being read in PSI

-17 to -20 is normal being read as mmHg

sorry to start this thread up again but my torque pro app says im doing about -12 psi. ive noticed that when i first put the app on it was -9 to -10, now its almost -13 psi. does this mean anything if its that low? it goes to about -12 psi when i shift i think. then at WOT at around 4500-5000 rpms it goes to like 23 psi. im completely stock , just recently installed an ets intake and numbers havent really changed

edit: on the vacuum setting to mmhg it reads up -27.. is that too high, can it be a problem?

I get about -18 r -19 on my stock X... Usually when you put a catback/TP/cams it will bring it down to -14 ish.

To add to the thread. I have a cobb AP with my mods listed in my sig. I am at -9 to -10psi at idle and when driving in between shifts the vacuum is around -11 to -12psi.

Had to bring this 1 back to life...

So had an aem digi boost guage installed recently and guage is reading -28 vacuum.. trying to figure out why its not at -22 ish, like on my previous 9.
Im at sea level...

TIA

Yep and -7 <> (-9) sounds like the perfect normal range if being measured in psi (of course this if from memory without doing the conversion math, but I'm confident with this as my final answer)

That's a lot of vac pressure. Was there a calibration process you had to follow? (I didn't think AEM required it, but might want to look into it).

Or check for any sort of squeeze point that might increasing the pressure from. Like some sort of Bernoulli's principle showing up from going from some huge vac source and being squished to the smallest inner-diameter tubing imaginable. But, although physics supports this...I would still think calibration or broken gauge IMO.

no calibration process. Checked all of the lines, no kinks, etc...
might just pick up a new prosport guage, never really liked the aem...
I did notice that on my set up, the "T" is right off the BOV, connected to the hardline goin to the int mani, rather than "T'ed" off right at the int mani.
