It's ok for now, but come winter i won't be able to dirve the car without letting it warm up for 15 minutes. What transmission oil would you suggest for us cold weather guys?
As stated...

AMSOIL MTF for a daily driver under "Normal Operating Conditions"

AMSOIL MTG for any that have been Modified, Driven Hard or Tracked.

Either fluid will serve you fine but the MTF is a slightly less Viscous flud that may be a little better for cold shifts... But, again, not if you are going to Drive Hard or Track the car.

2nd... That is for the tranny .. The Rear Diff takes a Different Fluid which is a GL-5

The GL-3 Rating is an antiquated rating and is superceded.. In this case, by a GL-4 which is used in the transmission due to the use of Brass/Bronze or Copper.

For an X, the AMSOIL MTF if the correct fluid if the car is Strictly a Daily Driver that is not Driven hard.

If the car is Driven Hard, Modified with Increased HP and/or Torgue or Tracked, the MTG should be used.

1. Yup its the X.
2. Yup its for the tranny as that is what this post is about.

The OP wanted to know where the bolt's were located. The diagram shows the locations also the "recommended" oils.

Who's arguing? I run your Engine oil and MTG oil in my X. It's holding up great.

No.... didn't think you were arguing.... I thought you were answering to the post about putting in 70W-80 in the rear diff...

Sorry if it came across wrong... I am in a hurry too often and try to keep it short..

thank you to the members that Posted, PM'd and emailed about my Toll Free not working...

It took me 5 calls tonight as it would drop my call as soon as I got through to the company, so evidently they are having some problems with their own number as well.

I did get through and they are hoping to have it fixed yet tonight, but it has been a long day on top of a sleepless night last night.

Please try again tomorrow.... I will be out and around so you may get my voice mail... Please leave a message with a return number and I will get back to you ASAP..

Thanks again !! Doc

Hi Doc,

Mine is a JDM RS model, does not come with SAWC but it came with front & rear LSD.
The manual that came with my car is in Jap & I don't understand anything inside.
Any idea which oil/qty can I use on the transmission, front/rear differential?
Thks for your advise.

I dunno how you can't decipher where it is by looking at that picture.
Its a 22mm drain plug, kinda narrows it down.

+1 You stare the picture and think about for ten seconds and you're set. But because some asked:

Fill is the plug on top (obviously, you can see my fluid pump in there)

Drain is the plug on the bottom

Top view: coming down from through where the intake box usually sits:

This is essentially a How-to in a picture (or two.) Fluid pumps can had from most auto parts stores for ~$10.
