HKS Turbo Type 1 Speed wire
Sorry for the late reply but I guest better late then never.
First time I have triyd this it did not work also, after a month I found the RPM wire and I got my avic-d3 nav system so I gave it a second try. This time I made shure I hade a good connection and it work, now there is 3 possibility
1: the good connection was all it needed
2: the nav created a load on the vss circuit and pull more amperage witch in turn created a stronger signal
3: if the factory does not make use of the vss it may be open circuit
Are you shure the connection is a good one and what kind of head unit are you using?
Anyone with this working could you post what head unit you got?

I tested the connection from the molex connector to the turbo timer circuit board and it was a solid connection. Maybe your right about the nav pulling more amps. I have the stock radio. I wonder if I install an aftermarket nav if it will trigger a stronger vss signal? Did you have the factort nav installed initially or the stock radio like me?
It would be nice if someone could confirm that they got the signal from the vehicule speed sensor working on there hks tubo timer type1 with the stock non-nav unit.
Anyone?
What kind of head unit you got with the turbo timer?

Yes this would help me any any future people who want to install! Any feedback out there?
I testes all connections and even placed the hks blue wire into the molex connector with no luck. I will look at everything again this weekend. Like I said before when I tested the A/C signal it was very minimal (less than a volt). Did anyone out there use or know of which wire behind the gauges provides a vss for the speado?
