NON sss spoiler to SSS spoiler quick question

I know that for the SSS spoiler there are extra holes that need to be drilled but was wondering if any of the non sss holes from the low spoiler would be exposed after the installation of the SSS

Ok, to do it correct you need to add two holes on each side. One SET of holes(one on each side of trunk) are marked from under the trunk lid. The other one is easy to line up once the SSS spoiler is on and in place you can mark the next drill hole from the top when you remove those black plastic caps on the sss spoiler base.

PS- I did not drill the 2nd set of holes through the top of the trunk yet and I have not had any issues. I do believe other members left out the 2nd set of holes and also have no issues. I will probably do it once I get the extra time to run and pick up the bolts I need for that hole lol.

+1 on the stock base holes being covered. My car came with a SSS carbon fiber wing. The previous owner only drilled 1 extra hole on each side and it held fine. Now I have 2 extra holes in my trunk since I put the stock wing back on. Damn!!!!

Nope, no holes will be exposed if you go big spoiler, the extra hole from the small wing will be covered. But you will have to drill an extra hole because the SSS spoiler is larger.
