Question? Permanent MMCS Bypass..
Hi, I was always check this forum from time to time for new info, and recently I bought a new EVO and got the MMCS for it.
In my region (Middle East), our dealers doesn't even have the MMCS because there isn't even maps for the region. My question is, since I won't need the Navi system in the MMCS, is it possible to bypass the disabled functions while the car in-motion PERMANENTLY?
I have read about the override kit and others where you use a switch to disable the navi signal and enable it again when done.
If it is not possible, is it ok to install the override kit and just keep it on all the time?
Thanks

since you are never going to use navigation.
you can pull the unit out out and cut the wire for the nav antennae.
the by-pass kit you are referring to... is a simple "on-off" switch installed on to the antennae wire.
