Head light height hell! Help!

I've been searching all over the internet for the last week now. I've seen 3 different diagrams, 3 different videos, looked in the owners manual, and none of them have been any sort of help in adjusting the height of the my low beams.

I have the base package 2012 GSR, nonadjustable lights (installed HIDs afterward). I've adjusted two different screws that I though were the right ones, but it hasn't done ****.

Can someone please walk me through this, and seriously talk to me like I'm 12 (it turns me on).

I got one of my techs to show me how the hell to do this, but now only one goes up. The driver side goes down, and only goes up to a point, but does not continue to go up. The passenger side goes as high or low as I turn it. Ugh!

Any ideas?

Turn CCW to raise the beam pattern

I agree! I saw the how-tos and could not see/feel a '10mm bolt'

drivers side will only go so high so that your don't bind oncoming traffic.

Yup, the base model doesn't have the adjustable HIDs or fast key.

Nope, that's just the sight and sound package. No one got ripped off. The base GSR's don't have the adjustable HIDs.

I have the GSR with SSS. My left side is way lower than the right. I just put it on the highest setting so I don't even notice it.

Something happened to me once.. when i put the bulb in.. it wasn't flat agaisnt the face.. kinda half *** crookid.. which caused the beam to be way in the air.. instead of on the road. could this be your issue?

I did it!

If you look at the top of the assembly (the gray 'back' not the lens) you see a 'channel' or groove that goes down the back at a diagonal. Shine a light behind the assembly as you look down the channel... The whitish 'gear wheel' and the bolt on it will suddenly become visible.

Reach into the cavity while watching throuh the groove... Put the 1/4 drive socket and small extension with 10mm socket on the bolt.

Turn ccw 4 wrench arcs ('1/4 turns'). Gets you pretty close! Do the same on the other side...

Done.
