I use sham wow for initial dry to get rid of the big water spots, then I use microfibre towel to do a more thorough dry afterwards

I use an absorber also, but the best thing you can do is the leaf blower as stated.

Yes I have used them and they are highly destructive no matter how careful you are. If you dont believe go ahead and use it for a few months and I guarantee you will be paying someone like me to professionally polish your paint in a few months....

I have chamois, waffle weave mf towels and even the paint squeegee thing and the only product I ever use on my paint is the waffle weave mf towels. This one to be exact:http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-guzzler-hd-towel.html and its the greatest. I have other waffle weave mf towels I use to dry the door jambs and I use the chamois sometimes but not as much as I use MF towels. The squeegee is only used on windows. When it comes to washing MF, I recommend http://www.autogeek.net/mr32.html or just Era detergent or any detergent without fabric softener and do not machine dry with heat. It will ruin the MF. I just let them air dry.

I use a leaf blower and absorber towel. Works the best and quickest for me

Fifth Gear did a segment on car washing.

2:25 shows the water blade.
The end near the video shows the results and damages it causes.
