* some operation components in the back which get in the way that I cant hack away... So essentially it is a Quad Projector LOOK only.

The only wiring in the DRL housing are for the Red LED & Halo.. The OEM DRL bulb has been removed and the OEM DRL wiring just sits redundant at the back.
I have followed your other thread and knew you had built nonfuctional drl projector before but i guess i was a bit thrown off seeing the photos of the lights assembled in the bin with all the additional wiring sticking out, i thought just maybe you were trying to make it functional. I applaud your efforts its well deserved. Just curious, about how much additional room do you think you need to make them functioning and is it feasible?

^^

I would really like to retrofit an operational projector in the DRL housing.

Limiting factors:
* I can't position the shroud anymore forward otherwise you will see gaps around the edges
* the orientation of the DRL housing in relation to the BiXenon projector are not "parallel" with each other. In other words, retrofitting a whole projector "directly" on would make the light shine outwards instead of front on. Retrofitting the projector to be parallel would mean one side of the shroud needs to be installed further inward into the headlight which is not what I want. This comment is based on the design of the E46 shrouds coz that's the only shroud I've worked with.
* the various projectors that I've worked with "seem" too big width and especially length wise. However, there's one projector that I'd really like to get my hands on. That's the "Mini H1" HI projector. Not sure if it'll fit but I'm willing to give it a crack. Anybody wanna send one my way to find out??

I'm think of getting one Stevo. I want a new set of HL and would love an operational in the DRL housing.

This question is for people that know electronics and what not.

So ive been wanting to do a fog light delete and have the inner blinker/hazard orange lights stay on with the projecters, how would i go about doing that? would i need a separate relay?
