Update. Have the new inner baffle in hand, and will be fitting it up this week/weekend. Keep your patient little fingers crossed, because if it fits like I want it, we are there.

op, any update on this sucker? not rushing you, just antsy...

 

No update in over 2 weeks!! People lose interest quickly if they arent kept informed of whats goin on. Ive seen good products disappear on this forum for that reason! With that said, as of now Im still interested and wondering if you had good fitment.

 

Got the vent redesigned like I wanted it, to clear the bumper mount. In the picture of my prototype, I painted mine white to see if I liked it. Well, I didn't, and have to take it back off to paint the inner duct black, and the outer bezel white. But it is more or less complete. I'll take a shot this weekend of the trimming you have to do to the radiator cover, but this thing is super simple to install. Talking 1.5 hours, taking your time. Thinking of offering them unpainted (for guys that want to color match) and black powdercoat.

 

A Carbon Fiber option would be nice too.

 

Carbon Fiber piece, or appearance? I could talk to a local guy why does hydrocoating, but the bezel form doesn't lend itself well to be made completely out of carbon.

 

I would hope for real CF but you know your design and if you don't think it is possible then thats how it goes. It would just tie into my CF hood beautifully. I'm still interested in this even if it couldn't be in CF.
