Okay, I did a shop of what I think it would look like painted but the inside left black. I'm not crazy good with PS but here it is on my car. Send me one and I'll make this happen =) Painted.

Can you also make one of these? On the Evo VI's. It's like another scoop but on the hood. Located above the intake? Would this work?

Just google search: "naca duct" and you should find plenty of options for that

What? Lol it's not like the car now is resistant to other elements and insects and whatever your talking about. The scoop and air vents on the hood and the entire front bumper allows this "stuff and excess moisture" to get in your car already.

I've actually wanted to buy a whole new bumper just for this, it's so stupid how all Evo's don't come standard with this vent for extra cold air to suck in directly like that.

Randomly stumbled upon this thread, I would be down for sure for group buy or w.e

New inner duct is almost done. And just for you nervous nellies, it rained like gang-busters here at the end of last week, and I drove in that rain every day for several miles with absolutely no adverse affects. So those of you, along with myself, that have said that rain getting up in the intake tube is of no concerns, we have verification.
