It won't draw enough rain to hurt anything, just think of cars with sri's and open hood vents. Unless it's used as a snorkel through a small lake or you are vastly exceeding the speed limit through a monsoon-esque deluge, you'll be fine.

Hate to thread hijack, but I can make these...and it doesn't look like the OP ever finished them or started vending...

if it were me, I'd make them out of ABS/carbon, no rivets, with premount adhesives like I do the rear spats.

Should I knock out a mock up? I got more plastic than California sitting around in here
