a pillar color match

Anyone know what texture spray paint to use for the a pillar.? Just finished sanding and priming mine but can't find anything close to the color in texture locally. Websites or info would be awesome.

Thanks

SEM makes a nice texture coating, but the one I have is black.. Not sure if they make one in the a pillar color. The black matches the rest of the black trim almost perfectly

Do you think he could just get the SEM clear texture coating then spray that over with color matched paint?

Might work. I remember their primer being pretty close to the A-pillar color with enough coats. clearing over the primer might work.. Also from my experience SEM products are kind of hard to find. Especially in spray cans.. I usually have to special order them from a paint store and theyre also expensive.

yea the local store here had to order it and it cost like $24 per can.. the black looks really good though, and you can just do all the pillars.

Yea that is what someone else said almost 30 a can. I am gonna compare the primer on it now to see how close of a match it is and if it is close enough I am going to try the clear texture from SEM

There's no spray texture that matches it perfectly. I use a three stage process to get it right when I make them.
