Do you guys think that this is normal (see picture below)? I got about 1k miles and the rear rotor hub is rusty.

It's normal for rust to appear at the edge of the rotor as it meets the hub, but where yours is rusting that is not normal. Go to the dealer and have them replace that with a new one. Do you live in an area where there is snow? I only ask because of the salt and chemicals that they put down to melt the ice accelerates rust and if you don't wash it off promptly then that happens.

This should not happen.. go to the dealer and get a new one. there should be no questions asked when you show them the problem.. That is a weird place for rust to appear for sure.

rust there is um, normal. maybe not in 1k, but could be perfectly normal if he lives near the right conditions for rust to be very common. when i installed my new brakes, i had the old rotors media blasted before i painted them, i missed some spots and had rust on them right after the car wash the next morning.

Guys,

Come on........ rotors are made of cast iron. They are going to rust especially where there is no contact with the pads. Relax, there's nothing wrong here.

wow thats 2 things on this car allready that rust easily. The exhaust and now this. I wonder what else? IMO I would just take them off the car, sand them down and put some good paint on them with a nice clearcoat!

Rust in body panels is bad, rust almost anywhere else is to be expected.
