Eibachs installed, clanking noise from rear

I'm getting a slight clanking noise when I come to a sudden complete stop. I can replicate the sound 100% of the time if I just slam the brakes while moving very very slowly. It seems to be coming from the back. Has anyone else gotten this noise before? Maybe the strut bolts aren't torqued down enough?

what's likely happening is that pulling the car to a stop unloads the rear spring and it's shifting around. It's really easy to not put the ends of the springs in the little "holsters" on the perches. Been there, done that.

There's a rubber grommet near the top of the shock that will make bad noise if you put it in up side down.
