Wheel tire recomendations
Wheel tire recomendations
I live nearby very twisty roads and my car is a weekend car. but i am no into much modding. i feel the grip of the car is very good, but i want to imporve it so i started looking for tire, i liked toyo r1r very much, but i figured if i was going to change tires i might as well change the wheels, so the question is this, what wheel/tire size will imporve the grip of the car without having alignment o rubbing issues?
also i dont want to lower the car or change coilovers

Well wheeldude.com has Rota's for a very discounted price. I like the tread design of the Kumho Ecsta AST or Toyo T1R. If you go 9.5 width, go 255/40/18. That'll give you the width and traction without having to change suspension.
If i go this route how much difference will i feel on the steering wheel, and i no issues or mods with this size?

I would go with 265 Toyo R888s or Nitto NT01s. Those are some sticky *** tires. So look into those and if you don't got the moneyz for them....maybe try Falken Azenis - RT615s, another popular sticky tire. Those IMHO aren't the best sticky tires ever, but it will do the job for you if you're on a little budget, but still want some legit tires.
