Thanks for the info kirk. I will try spraying them down first and go from there. Just want to make sure I take care of everything best I can because I want to make it last. I will spray them down tomorrow after work and post an update later. What kind of wheel cleaner are you using? I have meguires hot wheels and haven't tried that yet. It is the kind that you just spray on and then wash off with water.

Yea that kind of wheel cleaner. The idea behind it is to get all the brake dust off the wheels, but it works just fine on rotors too. I work with brakes for a living and most brake noise is either dust or some vibration in the system, unless of course they are worn out and it's metal to metal. .

Just make sure not to leave it on too long. I never like keeping it on there very long just incase it messes with the finish on the calipers. Just wash it off and you will be fine.

Sounds good thanks. So many people have said that he evo brakes squeal a little anyway. Guess it's something to get used to.

+1 I've had the 500s for about 2500 miles now and they bite as good as stock, and seem to take repeated abuse pretty well on aggressive daily driving. I have noticed that they're wearing noticably fast, confirming what I've read about both RB 500s and 800s.

So im hearing some squeaking noise consistantly as i drive, which i think is metal to metal? but when i press on the brakes, the noise goes away. I havent had time to check, ill probably check after work, but what do you guys think it may be?
