Dont know how to buy rims?

Hey guys. So i am looking to buy new rims for my 08 evo x. A couple interest me mainly the rota g force. thing is i have no idea how to go about this. I know the stock rim is 18x8.5 with a +38 mm offset. I have a 245/40/18 tire. Now i am looking for rims so I do not have to do any modification. It is stock suspension as well.

http://www.racinglab.com/rota-g-force-0007.html

would this type of rim work on that tire. its a 48 mm offset so idk what the difference would be

You need to stay at +38 or lower. A higher offset, +48 means the rims will be too tucked in and will therefore hit your rotors.

What about this rim. It's a little bit wider so a 18x9 and a 30 mm offset http://www.aspecwheels.net/index.php...product_id=156

18x9.5 in the low to mid 20 range will work.

18x9 +30 fits great. 245 tire is fine, and a 255 works well here too.

18x9.5 +25 is a great fit, although a 245 tire is technically stretched on this you'll be OK. 255/265 is a better fit depending on tire brand.

Anything bigger and you're looking at some work generally.

Ok so if I get a 18x9 rim with a +30 offset I won't need to do any rolling or modifications? I know the lower he offset the more agressive it looks. So that's why I chose 30 because its close to stock +38. Also I can just put it on my 245 tire?

Also you have to be aware in that our brake calipers are very wide, and even though the offset maybe low, you could still run into a potential problem with them hitting the side of the calipers. For example the XXR 521 in a 18x10 +25 offset still require a 25mm spacer to clear the calipers.

18x9.5 offset in the 20 and run 265/35 18 that should be just fine
