question about the lancer horn

question about the lancer horn

correct me if im wrong but the horn on 2002 lancer is those two circle things right in front of the radiator thingy if not what are they.....the two roller bars thingys under the front bumper are the airbag thingys right...?

Horn yes...er..airbags are stored in the steering wheel and the passenger dash respectively. Those bars behind the bumper are shock absorbers.

i know what the shocks are there are 2 bars under the front bumper almost under the radiator

Maybe I wasn't specific enough. Those bars behind the bumper almost beneath the radiator are crash shock absorbers.

bassman, they are SHOCK ABSORBERS behind the bumper, not SHOCKS where your tires are.

lol take them off and throw them in the garbage your trasshman will have more fun tryin to figure out what they are



they are kinda shaped like this

they weigh alot to so take em off and give your self a well deserved weight reduction

They're schock absorbers. as to how they work, I'm not too sure on that one. I'd take mine off. but I'd like to know how much damage a hit could cause w/o them on. even if only a fender bender.
