Free mods if they gain you some power is by no means IMO ghetto. Hell I have them myself, Literally just by removing a restrictor in my wastegate seloniod I was able to gain 2 psi of boost over the stock setup!! Was a 5 min job....so if you find a way to do it go for it!

hmmm...platinum spark plugs, higher octane gas, not living in Denver, for the cost of nitrous you could just go the normal route and get the I/H/E etc. and that will help out...sorry not really a fan of the nos.

I'd like to know what year eclipse adapter plate you used too?
I haven't yet bought an intake but depending on the cost I might do that too.

using my incredible gift of vision i think that all mitsubishi mas's use the same plate. i'm using one from a 3000gt. my plate also fits on a 2nd gen eclipse gsx. and on top of that, its the same plate recommended to the mirage guys. but don't take my word for it

plate = mas adapter plate

as far as ebay, there's an adapter for 3" cones (black plastic and looks like a funnel) and one for 4"(?) cones (metal) just search "lancer intake"

Yeah, my brother got his from a speed shop, but we did have to adjust(clip) parts(the corners) of the plastic( the one that holds the metal mesh in place)
