All I did to the Evo is TBE, Boost Controller + Gauge, Turbo Timer, Custom Flash and lots of under the car Aerodynamic changes. The car does 12.1 - 12.3 1/4 all day long. With my Z06 I can do the 1/4 ok, but when it comes to cornering..... well thats another story... hahaha But yes the Evo is by far the fastest car I have so far.
My previous car was a 91 GSX (11.1@131), so my EVO is not the fastest.
My 1992 Honda Civic CX 4 speed 1.5 SOHC with I/H/E was the fastest car I have ever owned. The handling was even better with stock wheels minus the hubcaps and lowered via cut coils. Boy I miss that car, much better than the evo!

Very tough call here. After all the mods, I think I'd have to say yes for 0-100 or so and the road course, but at 100+ I'm inclined to say no.
However my next project will be a Radical or something very similiar for track use - that should make the Evo feel slow, at least in the corners.

Definitely the fastest and best handling car I've ever owned.
My first car was a 1995 3000 GT (base) and i totally loved that car, in fact I traded it in on the EVO MR. Then I had a 2003 350Z Track Model, and now i'm the proud owner of a 2005 EVO MR. It has definitely set a standard that no car in it's price range can touch.

my other car is a civic, and will probably be the fastest car i'll ever own. i ran 11.74 on my low boost setting of 1 bar, and it is built to push over 30+ psi. just have to find time to tune the high boost map. my guess is that it will do low ten's - high 9's or blow up trying.
Not yet the fastest, but one of these days!
