k270kmh,
The 350Z was a fabulous car and i can't dog it.
The MR is quicker, handles better, and has more room. In my opinion it looks a lot meaner as well. I also think that the car is built with better quality materials.
I got the Z when it first came out and it was like driving a Ferrari, because nobody had seen one at the time, so heads would turn. Now, everyone and their brother has a 350Z so i wanted something different. Plus I've always been a fan of the EVO and I've wanted one since i was a kid.

Yeah, my evo is by far the fastest and most fun car I have ever owned.
Before the evo, I had a 2003 Eclipse GT...felt like a pregnant whale. My '65 Stang was quick, but nothing like my BBY.

I just got mine 3 days ago and breaking her in hard. Comming from RSX-S Evo has little more accleration than my RSX-S did.(could be a tie) RSX-S had Intake, Header, exhaust, and hondata. But that will all change in a few weeks. As far as handling goes there is no comparison.
Faster than all my previous cars:
1968 AMX 390
1968 Chevelle SS 396
1971 Javelin-Amx 360
1974 Jensen Healy (Lotus engine)
1975 Corvette 350
1976 Triumph TR-6
1987 Porsche 911 turbo
1991 Acura NSX
2003 Honda S-2000
2003 EVO Vlll
2004 Acura TL

* '72 Vette that had a higher top end (but not by much.) Rode rougher than the Evo, handled like ****, and sat so low could tell if car in front of me washed under his bumper...
* '78 Dodge Aspen sleeper (massivley built 340 engine & trans out of a '68 Dodge Dart GT, cutdown 8-3/4" quick-change posi from a '68 Dodge Monocco Station Wagon, etc.) Great for drag racing & separating fools from their money.
* Porsche Boxster - OK, but Evo is better in every way.
*'86 GLH turbo - more hp than my stock Evo & slightly faster in the 1/4 mile (after being heavily modified, of course...) Out of all the cars I've ever owned/had access to, little Pocket-Rocket was actually closest, performance-wise, to the Evo. Greatest POS ever produced, but a terrifying deathtrap in cold/wet weather...
Have had lots of others, but none worth comparing to an Evo - and she's still stock!
Evo is the best all-around car - can't wait to start moddin' it!!!
