evo headlight swap?

Is it possible to swap the headlight housings from an Evo VII or 8 on an 02 OZ Lancer? I've seen the whole conversions, but I'd like to stick to the stock front end, just with the Evo headlights.

you guys seriously need to stop that, as has been said, someone is going to do a search, and then they're going to see that you said yes, even though it's not true, and think that it is. Please stop posting **** like this

Actually, it will fit. Not a direct bolt on. It's more like plug and pray.

To help you out...

I do recall someone who posted as Calvinwch (I hope that's right) he had that done to his Lancer. However I do recall him switching to a Scion Tc. If you manage to find him. Ask him.

like I said, it would take some major physical modification of the front clip to make it fit, and then it would look bad, the lines on the front of an '02 vs. the lines on an EVO are very different

what does the headlight have to do with lines of the car, i would do it to be honest but my cedia w/ HIDS are fine, light shape is similar, so thats not a problem, some woud need to come off of the hood, and maybe fill some in the fender

I did search, all I found was aftermarket projector and angel-eye stuff. What is major fabrication? I'm pretty good with fiberglass and sheet metal fab.

Such as?

OK OK, Let me rephrase that. Ask Calvinwch on what he had to do to get it on there.

Isn't it: Bumper, fenders, hood?

and the frame that holds them in place would require some fab work, different mounts
