Does this happen to you?????

I was gone for a week so my Evo was sitting in my garage. I come back and it starts out fine. I stop by the bank about 5 minutes later, get some money and start the car. No power, no radio, no nothing. Hmmm. I'm thinking, "Is it the engine immobilizer? Did I not unlock the car properly?" Nah. I restart it a couple of minutes later and everything is fine. However, my trip computer is reset to zero and my radio presets are at default. What do you think happened? I can think of somehow the fact that I was gone for a week may have been part of it. Also, i have a turbo timer but I know it is hooked up correctly. Does it stay on after engine shutoff and perhaps the timer never shut down? I doubt it. Never had problems before.

So, any suggestions? Thanks a lot in advance for you insights!

i think its our switch on the clutch pedal.. mine did it twice too me.. i have a stand-alone too. i wiggled the switch and the wires and it hasnt done it since.. mine didnt reset the computer though.. so it could be your battery cables, or our cars are know to have the starter wires loosen up..
