S4 = best daily driver
evo = best performer
STi = somewhere in between

 

I drove the regular 8 and then an MR, and really couldn't tell the difference, until I looked up and saw no sunroof.

If you're a track hound(autocross, roadracer), get the MR. If not, than go for the sunroof.

 

maybe I missed it but which s4 do you want to get used 4 cylinder tt or the new 8 cylinder..thats a huge difference in car so you cant really compare sti/evo to the s4 unless we know which you're looking at

 

You're asking this on an evolution board so you're answer is most likley going to be the EVO, which i'd tell ya to get

 

I was in a lil dilemma between what car to get myself before I decided on the evo8. I narrowed my list to 3...evo sti and m3. I decided on the evo because itz alot more mod friendly than the sti so sti was ruled out. Between the m3 and evo8 i had to decide luxury w/ some performance or straight out performance. the final decision came when i saw the insurance premium quotes between the evo8 and the m3. both are great cars and m3 is jus a lil tad too luxurious fo me so bam bought the evo8. haven't regretted a day since. I get more headturns w/ my evo than my friends m3. my 2cents goes to evo

 

it would be a b5 s4 probably an 02. i have made arrangemtns to go and test drive all the cars tomorrow afternoon. but i cant seem to find an MR to drive only an evo 8 both mitsubishi dealers laughed when i said MR. they were like those are hard to come by. but htanks for all the replys it really helps give me somethings to think about

 

if its helps i sold my sti to buy a evo and dont regret it at all
