It doesn't matter if dumb asses that don't know anything about cars talks trash about the wing. I don't even want your respect if you don't have the knowledge to come with it. As long as we know what's up that's all I care about.

Reading this thread reminds me of when I first got a 1994 supra twin turbo....all the **** people talked about the huge wing....till I passed them as if they were parked. It was amazing what that car did with so little done...HA.

That's not the only thing that's big!! Turn up the music, floor it, and run into something.

most people where i live have no idea what it is either. i had ONE person actually know what it was, and he isnt into cars that much.

where i work is the main "cruise spot" for the younger kids. i get to hear all of the cars with exhuasts running up and down the street. one night after work i got revved on by a full size ford f150 with a couple of younger guys in the truck, followed by "is that a real evo?" lol.

never really had a negative comment as of yet. one time i remember i was waiting in a CVS parking lot for my friends father to come out because i took him for a ride. well some hot chick walked out with her boyfriend and shes walking breaking her neck looking at my car. next thing i hear is nice car. the boyfriend sorta looked pissed. lol then they hopped in his jetta and zoomed off.

I was creeping out of an alley once about to head back onto Sunset Blvd. in LA. A couple walked by so I hit the brakes. They heard my roaring engine and saw my lovely HIDs and were curious as to what type of vehicle this was. They were checkin' it out like a nympho in the **** section. When they get to the middle section of my car, currently unblinded by the HIDs, they both look at the emblem. The girl refers to the guy and says, "Mitsubishi?! Since when did they make such nice cars?" Then I proceed to enter back onto the boulevard.

Nope, not modded at all, don't plan on it either. . . .my last car was a 400+fwhp t/c water-intercooled beast that just gave me so much pleasure and so much pain. . . .I've decided to keep it factory warranted as long as I can. . .frankly, this car is a lot easier to handle, a lot easier to launch, and a lot easier to control. . . .and out of the box, is plenty fast for me. . . .I think if you're a good driver on an 2005, you can hit low 13's EASY, maybe even high 12's easy. . .

Low 13s easy = yes
High 12s easy = no, but definitely doable with a 1.7x 60'

1.7X60'. . . .I just MIGHT lose my tranny I guess high 12's would be more approachable with some 'minor' upgrades then, (flash, tb-exhaust, high flow air filter, etc.)
