I just got my Evo 8, absolutely in LOVE, I leave work early, wake up early, drive at all odd hours. . . it's like a new girl friend!

So I was out last night bar hopping, left the parking garage, and a bunch of girls just started laughing. . .I know it wasn't me, so I asked them what's up, and they were like, "That wing is so HUGE!!"

My response: "You know what they say about a guy with a huge spoiler."

Witty quips aside, do y'all get the same reaction from ladies?

Guys just try to race me, doesn't matter if it's an F150 or a 350Z, everybody just wants to race. . .where's the respect for this marvel of modern engine technology?

 

some people dont know what the evo is...they think its just a 4dr with a wing trying to be fast..

 

yeah mad people say something about the wing. i just tell tham that it came stock on the car and say " F U C K you very much, and have a nice day!!"

 

That actually happened to me the other day. I was leaning on my car talking to my friend who was leaning on his 2g. And a car of some girls drove by and one fat one leaned out the window and was like "BIG WINGS ARE GHEY!" So I sorta got pissed and yelled "It is stock you dumb B****".

She gave a look like she couldn't figure out what to say next.

 

But they have no idea..... and that's great for u because when u smoke them u get this look like ummm....i wasn't ready or i wasn't racing u ....LOL i get that a lot

 

don't worry the fat b i t c h will get hers, you'll see. muahahahaha

 

The wing isnt the greatest looking thing to some people but at least its not one of those multi level park bench wings made from an aluminum can.

 

funny story, i get that a lot but this one time at TARGET i pulled up to some asian dudes in a bmw like 91-93ish and i had the window cracked so they didnt think i could here them. well one of them uttered out"ooh big wing, must fly" followed by them laughing together. than another said " that sh it look's retarded" i got out and said, "yeah its big huh?, it is fast though." and they stayed quiet and had this stupid look on there face. it really pissed me off, but whatever i love my car.

 

I don't have a wing, so, I don't get any comments like that. even, Cops don't notice my car. people don't know our cars well. It is just a lancer with a loud muffler from their point of view.

 

I get kinda the same thing some of the kids at my school always ask "why did you get a car with a wing that big" or "that wing is so gay" I just say try to catch me.

 

I was going from bar to bar but on the way i wanted something to eat before we went to the next. I wasnt driving! I had this fat redneck tard *** that was working the local Hardee's in NC say man your wing is ugly right after she handed my food. While she was handing my change a couple of ones and a few quarters. Well my drunk *** thought of that movie Uncle buck. So i throw her a quarter back and i said before you call something ugly before you know what it is here is a quarter ..go down to a doctor and have that fat ugly *** mole removed off your face....LOL that wasnt it when i started to drive away she tried to throw the next customer's in line drink at me. She missed ..she better be glad she did.

 

Next time you ask them if they want to take a ride. Then show them what the 4 banger can do.

 

i love my wing...,who cares what ppl think dude. I work hard to keep and enjoy my car while im still in college. For those ppl who have no idea about the evo, f*ck em. Everytime i let a coworker ride with me to lunch(most of them they dont know what an evo is) they couldnt believe a four door car could be so fast. Enjoy your car f*ck the haterz most of them are just envying you.
