Why aren't Evos sold in Canada
Im sure someone has answered this question already....i searched this site and google and cant find the answer.....i travel to toronto few times a year and Im getting an evo soon....its gonna be really cool driving an Evo up there and have whole bunch of people checking it out.....

As for you searching, this has been discussed many times, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue, so your searching ability leaves much to be desired...

They're illegal to own there. I can't remember if it's a bumper crash rating or emissions, but the only way to have an Evo up there is if it's registered in the US.

^ yeah, that's it.
it's due to a rolling crash standard that the insurance companies do. at a certain speed there is too much damage incurred due to the fmic costing so much to replace, so they put it on the black list. for whatever reason, the us insurance companies don't do this test to the same standards.
oh well, our loss until the put in proper bars at the front.
